Ok, so there’s an elephant in the room. The elephant being that there are some major issues with PocketPharmacist and iOS 8. Some features are hampered and others are completely broken. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. There, it’s out in the open. Now let’s discuss.
For the last year, I have been attempting to bring PocketPharmacist to the web (as a fully functional web site) in an effort to allow users to access the app from any device on the planet. This would explain my lack of updates and long overdue blog posts.
Whether you use Apple mobile devices, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Kindle, Apple desktops, or PCs, my hope was to allow access to PocketPharmacist and its simple to understand drug information, interaction checker, and med organizer. Unfortunately, this project has taken longer (ok, a lot longer) than anticipated.
Considering the issues with iOS 8, I feel that it is only right to release the web application version of PocketPharmacist immediately. For now, while I continue to flesh out its features, the web app will be free of charge.
At some point in the future, the web version of PocketPharmacist will have a small subscription fee per year. As a token of my appreciation, I am offering the first 5,000 users that sign-up for this new service a free one-year subscription.
So, where is this new web version of PocketPharmacist? http://pocketPharmacist.io

One more thing. I plan to rapidly add more drug summaries, exciting new features, and educational blog posts @ pocketPharmacist.io starting 10/1/2014.
Once again, my apologies for the lack of attention over the last year and hope to see you at the new location.
